Carlow Arts Festival is delighted to announce a dynamic panel for the VR/AR/MR Creatives discussion on Sunday 9th June at 4pm at Carlow College.
The panel will include composer Guillaume Auvray, writer Karen Hunt and assistant director Sarah Bradley all of whom have worked on Immersive Tech experiences.
Guillaume is a composer working with ambisonic orchestral recordings and accompanying 360 video working with musicians including Crash Ensemble, Karen, with her company Narrative Hunt (https://narrativehunt.com/) has collaborated on Virtual Reality interactive narratives such as Tiny Planets Umami which premiered at Cannes in 2018, and Sarah assistant directed a motion capture version of the West End show The Grinning Man for Andy Serkis’ company, Imaginarium for Magic Leap augmented reality glasses.
Come along to hear these creatives in conversation about how and why they are working with the new storytelling medium.
The VR Cinema will feature a series of VR films from animation to empathy-building documentaries with content for all the family shown on Oculus Go headsets.
