We are delighted to offer visual art workshops with Maser for local young people between the ages of 15-19.
This is a three-part workshop, consisting of an online group session with Maser to learn about the artistic process and how his art practice has developed over the past 25 years; a site visit to see Maser in action while working on the mural on location and to see the installation process, and finally a personal project where each member of the group will create a piece of work in any medium inspired by the workshop. The personal projects will be shared on www.CarlowArtsFestival.com later in the summer.
Zoom Workshop With Maser will take place on 1 June, 5pm-6pm
(Maser will talk about his background, training and host a Q&A and has asked people to submit questions).
After the workshop be sure to come along and say ‘Hi’ to Maser – he will be onsite from Friday 4th June – Tuesday 8th June.
