An interactive online show for children that retells the Greek myth of Prometheus.
Featuring a storyteller, action figures, live video cameras and online resources, this unique show tells the story of the original fire-starter. In defiance of Zeus, Prometheus gives human beings the gift of fire. For his disobedience, he gets tied to a rock for eternity, while an eagle nibbles his liver.
Like many of the great myths, it’s gory, exciting and asks big questions but not many easy answers. Is Prometheus a sneaky saboteur who deserves his punishment, or the people’s hero? Should we always follow rules even though we find them unfair? Why the liver?
