Kowloon Forest (靜影九龍) is an 8-minute Virtual Reality film that strings together the stories of five unlikely characters as they navigate the ins and outs of a city in flux. It explores the intimacy of the VR medium in interesting ways as it swaps out sweeping vistas and towering stone giants for the cramped confines of Hong Kong. The film roots you in squashed apartments and dense city streets in unapologetically close proximity to its five central characters.
