Affection, vulnerability. Seven men. Together? How?
7 men dressed in black suits, white shirts and ties are in a black room. Their movements no longer make sense after being confronted with their privilege in a society in latent collapse. Their clothes hide their individuality and spark oppressive symbols: the political man, the bourgeois man, those who look from above, beings that populate the Earth just to exploit. They know that something needs to hurt their breasts in order for the natural course of things to change, and that something is transmuted. They have been building and destroying the world for so long that they no longer remember themselves. They need to look inside, they need to recreate paths.
GRUA – Gentlemen de Rua is a group of artists who, since 2002, have created work that explores the relationship with the city. They are artists who experience the urban space as observers, following all the events in their surroundings and through their actions, create a torrential dance, made of connections with the place.
