Sun Collective’s songs are harmonically rich and densely orchestrated for string trio, two pianos, and three high male voices punctuated by double bass and percussion. Their Indie folk music draws on their orchestral and jazz backgrounds with influences from contemporary classical music.
Caimin Gilmore composer and songwriter for Sun Collective has extensively toured the U.S.A, Europe, Asia, U.K and Ireland as a Double Bassist, and recently finished touring Lisa Hannigan’s At Swim album world tour.
Sun Collectives debut album, written by Caimin Gilmore and Shane Sugrue, was carefully developed and recorded over the course of four years at studios in London.
